The future
of
Jewish
Leadership

01 OUR
VISION

Since October 7th, young Jews around the world have experienced a reawakening — a painful, powerful reminder of both vulnerability and belonging. In the face of trauma and antisemitism, we must offer meaning.
Our initiative responds to that moment, offering a path forward rooted in purpose, identity, and impact.
Our vision is to cultivate Jewish high school students and graduates to become Jewish leaders or activists in different walks of Jewish life with strong connections to Jewish communal life, a deep, lasting bond with the state of Israel.
02 WHY
NOW?

The war in Israel and the surge of antisemitism have left Jewish teens searching for meaning and belonging. Across high schools and college campuses, antisemitism and social hostility toward Jewish identity are rising sharply, making it more urgent than ever to prepare proud, articulate young Jews who can stand up for their people with knowledge, empathy, and strength.
Many teens are not ready for a year in Israel but still crave identity and purpose. STARS reaches these youth, those who are still within reach, and empowers them to step into leadership and action.
